Regina, Saskatchewan is the home of the annual Sask Open held over the Oct 12th - 14th weekend.

Newlywed Cindy Hayhurst (nee Pardy) was the top gun in this event winning the Ladies Singles Cricket title over Saskatchewan's own #1 lady Bonnie Lapierre. Hayhurst can proudly boost that she did not drop a single leg throughout the cricket event. Another top honor in the Ladies '01 Singles ousting Kristin Hanson for the win plus another two golds - in the Ladies Doubles with Anna Fagan and Mixed Doubles with hubby Terry Hayhurst! What a great weekend for Hayhurst!

On the men's side of the game "Stormin Norm' Tremblay captured his singles title defeating Scott Sansom and added another win with Scott Collins in the Men's Doubles event. Terry Hayhurst won the Men's Cricket event sending Cory Tkach to the sidelines in the finals.
