You can expect to see the big names participating in the NDFC ranked events this season as they are gunning for the top spots of the NDFC ranking list for a berth to represent Team Canada at the 2013 World Cup held in St John's Newfoundland next Oct.

Lachine, Quebec saw it's fair share of these top contenders as Robin Curry - Canada's # 3 lady took on Quebec's own Genny Mercier to win the Ladies Singles crown tho it was a battle for both these gals to get to the staged finals. Congrats ladies! Curry also took the Mixed Triples with 'East Coasters' Dave Cameron & Bill St. Croix.

On the men's side Dave Cameron, ranked at #4 in Canada seems to be kicking the season off on a roll as he snagged the Men's Singles title over a tough crowd defeating Paul Bolduc in the finals. Nathalie Bolduc also from Quebec partnered with Cameron to win the Mixed Doubles event.

The Men's and Ladies Doubles however was an all Quebec affair as Marcel Simard & Bernard Beaudin won their division while Louise Beaudin & Diane Gobeil kept the Ladies title in their home province!
